Weapon training is taught at various ages and levels
depending on the weapon. Special "age-appropriate" seminars
are given throughout the year. When you see the special sign
up sheet, please register as the class fills up fast.
Kobudo, the ancient art of Martial Art weaponry, is
considered an art in itself. One who wishes to master the many
different weapons must make consistent effort to progress
through the various forms and techniques. Many martial art
schools do not offer this unique curriculum for there students
simply because very few arts teach them. Here at Go No Sen
Karate, we have a very extensive weapon curriculum which
focuses on the Bo, Sai, Nunchucku, Tonfa, Nuti-Bo, Jo, Kama,
Katana, Eku, Chizikunbo, Nuti-Sai and Tonbo. Each weapon has
it's own intricacies and benefits. |
